I agree with you about the many scams regarding home based business. People have to be careful when looking for a home opportunity.
One of the things that I suggest is to take a look to see how long the company has been around. If it is anything under 4 years, be sure to do your research.
For those of us that have been in the industry for a while, we know that many opportunities pop up, then go away.
Although I have nothing against MLM, and direct sales oppotunities, I beleive people depend on them to much. I am currently in a MLM, but I use them as a vendor for my business.
What most people coming into MLM and direct sales opportunities do not realize, is that they are being branded by the opportunity. What people should be doing is branding themseleves and creating their own business. Before you can do that, you must come up with solutions for peoples problems.
